Jehovah Jireh "The Lord Provides"

Posted by: brosforever

Hello friends,

I just wanted to post a quick praise report and encourage anyone that maybe struggling financially at this moment. I just got a phone call from a lady in PA named Mary. She became friends with our ministry back in Feb after hearing one of our interviews on Hes Alive Radio out of Grantsville, MD. Mary called and told me what a blessing the interview was to her and asked for me to pray with her about her ministry. During that conversatoin she said that God was calling her into full time ministry but she was struggling because she couldn't find a job and they were about to foreclose on her house. She said that the Lord had told her that she was to be patient and not to look for a job, but to wait for the open door that God would lead her into for ministry.

God had specifically told Mary not to look for a job because it would interfere with the job God wants her to do. How many of you know that when times get tough that we doubt God and his calling on our lives. Mary also doubted and she went out and applied for a job.  God specifically told her not too but she did anyway because of the fear of losing her house.  She even got the job but God told her to call and tell them she couldn't take it. I can only imagine the fear of losing your home but then you get a job to pay for it and God says to cancel the job! LOL What faith.  So Mary cancelled the job and continued praying.

Early this week God told Mary to go to a financial conference being held in town. So she went. During the altar prayer time a lady came to pray for Mary.  This lady began to speak things into Marys life that only God could know. Things such as her home being foreclosed "because Mary had told no one at the conference", she told her that she was doubting Gods calling on her life, and many other things.  After the prayer this lady asked Mary how much she needed to keep her home out of forclosure. Mary told her and the lady mailed her a check to pay for the late amount.

Now here is the cool thing. The lady that prayed for Mary and wrote her the check was not attending the conference. She was actually driving down the interstate doing about 50mph when God spoke to her and told her to get off the exit and go into this church because he wanted her to help a certain lady.  Now how different would this story be if the Mary and this lady both had not listened to the voice of God.

Remember God is our provider, he is "Jehovah Jireh".

Be encouraged God is going to meet your needs.

Your Brothers Forever,

Curtis, Gary, Chris
