The day my soul was freed from Satans chains was December 9,2001,three days after my physical birthday. Although I received several gifts from various family members,I received the greatest gift of all that wonderful December day. I was reared around church ever since the day I was born. With going to church since before I can remember,I was constantly reminded of salvation. This day,the salvation message pierced my heart and I saw my need of a Savior. There was no fancy message preached,no notorious song sung. I just made my way down to an altar where God cleansed my heart with His matchless red blood. And,of course,I havent been the same since. Even though Satan tries to tell me that it never happened,I know it more than anyone else

I WILL NEVER FORGET THE DAY THAT I ACCEPTED CHRIST. I WAS 16 YRS OLD. WE WERE IN A REVIVAL, MAMA SAID I COULD GO SKATING WITH MY FRIENDS ON FRIDAY NIGHT.  FRIDAY NIGHT ROLLED AROUND, AND SHE DECIDED THAT WE(MY BROTHER & I), COULDNT GO. I AM SO GLAD SHE CHANGED HER MIND. 
ANOTHER DAY STICKS EVER SO CLOSE IN MY MIND: GOES EVEN FURTHER BACK.  WHEN I WAS 4-5 YRS OLD. I CAN REMEMBER MAMA ASKING DADDY TO GO TO CHURCH WITH US. SHE TOOK EVERY SUNDAY. TO A VERY SMALL FREE WILL BAPTIST CHURCH. MY DADDY SAID IT WASNT SMALL ENOUGH. HE WAS RAISED CATHOLIC. BUT, DIDN'T GO THERE EITHER. HE TOLD HER IF SHE WOULD FIND AN OUT OF THE WAY CHURCH, HE WOULD GO. SHE DID, A SMALL COUNTRY CHURCH. WE ATTENDED ON FATHERS DAY IN 1968.  HE WAS SAVED THAT DAY, WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY THAT WAS.  THE CHURCH WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH HIS STORY ABOUT HIM NOT WANTING TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN, THEY TOOK HIM RIGHT TO A POND AND BAPTIZED HIM.  A FEW MONTHS LATER, FOUND THAT HE HAD A REAL KNACK WITH TEENAGERS, AND MADE HIM A YOUTH LEADER. WE ENJOYED EVERY MOMENT OF IT. DADDY PASSED AWAY IN 1972 FROM LUNG CANCER, NEVER SMOKED A DAY IN HIS LIFE. AND HE TRIED TO URGE HIS BROTHERS AND SISTERS AND PARENTS TO ATTEND CHURCH, HE TOLD THEM THEY WOULDNT BELIEVE HOW WONDERFUL IT WOULD MAKE THEM FEEL AND SINCE THAT TIME, MAMA IS GONE NOW TOO, AND SOME OF HIS SIBLINGS, THEY WERENT CHRISTIANS.  I DO WHAT I CAN, THEY DONT LISTEN TO ME EITHER,  I JUST KEEP PRAYING FOR THE ONES REMAINING TO FOLLOW THEIR BROTHERS EXAMPLE.

i was at a little country church in arkansas. right before church started a very good friend of mind showed up. i was sitting on the second seat from the front on the left . he was on the second seat from the front on the right. the lord started calling for me but i would not go to the alter because i didnot want my friend to laugh and make fun of me.well i took it as long as i could,i got up out of my seat and started for the alter. as soon as i rounded the front seat i looked and jeff(my friend) was rounding the front seat on the other side. god filled me with the holy ghost that day and let me tell you it gets sweeter ever day. i will never forget that day
