Gary Ballew

Gary Ballew, Baritone, called Modesto, CA home until recently. Gary won the 1999 Western Quartet Convention Male Soloist Talent Contest. Gary for many years has worked in education. Gary, Cyndi, his wife, and their 2 children, Alexis and Madison, now call Church Hill, TN home. He was also The Music/Worship Pastor in Tracy,California for 10 years at Center of Hope Assembly of God.

Gary was also the first runner up in the West Coast Division of the Exalting Him Talent Search this past August 2006. He was also a wildcard nominee finalist along with 8 other singers throughout the country. Exalting Him is the biggest gospel music talent contest in the country and included over 4500 singer entries.

Gary has been singing Gospel music for 20 years (the last 12 as a soloist).

Started singing at early age of 8. Also started playing drums around three and the piano, guitar, and bass around eight. Never took lessons. I have traveled since I
was 18. I have song with 3for1, safe harbor, the Blackwoods. I have also opened up for groups such as Audio A, Sonic Flood, and Mercy me to name a few when I traveled as a cont. singer. I recently resigned as music and youth pastor at Pine Branch Baptist Church in Spruce Pine, NC. I am married to my wonderful wife Daphne Nicole Jones. We are newly weds only being married since 02/04/06. We live in a little town of Marion, NC. And we love it. Daphne is a native to the area. I grew up in Myrtle Beach, SC.
